April 15 is Purple Up! For Military Kids day, a highlight of the Month of the Military Child (April), aimed at wearing purple to support and honor the service, resilience, and sacrifices of military children. Purple symbolizes the combined colors of all U.S. Armed Forces branches.

The Pickaway County ESC office and programs will close at 3:00pm on Thursday, April 2, 2026. We will re-open on Tuesday, April 8, 2026

ESC staff wore red to congratulate the Circleville boys basketball team on their district title and to cheer on the girls team in their final four appearance today!

Pickaway County ESC attended the Academic Workforce Alliance this week at the ESC of Central Ohio. Great discussion about K12 and the workforce including a panel discussion with leading Central Ohio business partners.

The Pickaway County ESC alternative programs will be operating on a two hour delay for Monday, February 23, 2026. The ESC office will open at 10:00am.

Due to dense fog, Pickaway County ESC alternative programs will operate on a two hour delay today, Tuesday 2-17-26. Our office hours will begin at 9:00am to allow staff time to arrive safely.
The Pickaway County ESC will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of President's Day.

Job Fair!

Pickaway County ESC in cooperation with Ashland University will be hosting a book study on the book "Discipline Win" by Andy Jacks. You can choose to earn CEUs issued by Pickaway County ESC or semester credit from Ashland University. All meetings will be virtual. This will be a 5 week book study with mandatory virtual meetings on Saturdays from 8:00am-10:30am. The first virtual meeting is February 28, 2026.

As National School Counselors Week comes to a close, we want to take a minute and recognize the amazing work our ESC Counselor, Rachelle Cooksey, does with our students!

The Pickaway County ESC will be closing at 11:00am today, Friday February 6, 2026 in order to ensure the safety of all staff members. Students in our alternative programs have been transported home.
