How can I access all the AMC titles?
For a fee of .65 per student, your school district can request any titles found in the Pickaway County Area Media Center's catalog. We will ship them to you via U.S. mail to your school to use for three days (or if requested, can be arranged for longer periods of time), or you can pick up the titles and return them.
Another option, if you prefer, is that your school district can choose to pay on a $5.00 per title. This fee is billed during the school year on a quarterly basis.
The Pickaway County Area Media Center's available titles can be found by clicking the Downloads & Links at the top of this page. You will find two separate .pdf files (Media Center Catalog and the Media Center Catalog Index) under the Downloads/Forms section.

Simply key in the search term, for example, World War II, and tell it to do a search.
You can choose to download, view now, or borrow from the area media center. You may download the title to a computer, a file server, or the network for 45 days. This constitutes "Fair Use" for the material. If you choose to view now, it will stream the titles which depending on the type of connection available and the size of the video file, could take a few minutes to initialize. If your system will not support downloads or streaming, the title is available at no cost by phoning the Pickaway County Area Media Center at (740) 474-7529.
